Rest in Peace Tities
Trifosa Salanggamo aka Tities was known as one of those rare people who had so many wonderful traits. He was hard working, musically talented, humble, generous, humorous, friendly, and extremely kind; he was a visionary, and he loved his friends and family and God.
Tities was called to leave this world on August 7, 2010 to be reunited with our beloved Father in heaven, while his family and friends were still hoping and praying for his health to improve.
Everyone who knew Tities had a little bit of their world fallen apart on that Saturday morning. Our hearts sank so low because he’s gone too fast.
I was standing in a corner of the funeral home, observing those who came to pay their respects. Countless people came to give tribute to him with teary eyes. Childhood friends, church friends, colleagues, musicians, and so many others whose life was impacted by Tities were there to send him back into God’s arms.
The beautiful service in the funeral home was filled with testimonials to Tities from family and friends, and beautiful songs of worship were raised in the air.
Tities, as you now look down from heaven, you can see how respected and well-loved you were. You were one of God’s instruments of love in this world. I feel lucky by being one of your childhood friends, and I am so proud to have known you.
Though we are very sad, deep inside we are also very happy that you are in a better place. By now, I bet you are sitting at Jesus’ feet and listening to His great story or already singing in the choir of angels!
We look forward to being with you someday in heaven, my friend :)
